Support a small business this christmas

In October I shared on my Instagram about how I gave preference to small businesses when choosing suppliers for my civil wedding and I come back here to talk about the same thing about how important it is to support small businesses - especially in these pandemic times - in Christmas time.

Bearing in mind the complexity experienced by smaller entrepreneurs who have some difficulty in maintaining jobs or even open businesses, I will share some actions that can make a difference at this time of the year and gift tips that you can give to special people in your life.

1 - IF YOU CANNOT BUY, SUPPORT WITHOUT SPENDING A PENCE

Sometimes when you can't buy from a small business, you can help spread the word. For example: share the post in the stories or even enjoy it on social networks. Commenting also helps to showcase that business as well as tag a friend in the comments who may be interested in a particular product in the business and thus convert into sales. With little, you do a lot.

2 - BUY PRODUCTS MADE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

Often we only buy from big stores where many things are not produced here. However, when we choose to buy from British suppliers we are helping indirectly and directly to help and save small businesses in the countries. Ex: Buy on Be Designer

3 - ORGANIZE YOUR CHRISTMAS PURCHASE EARLY

Most small business products are handcrafted - which makes them unique. So, get organized in advance when buying the products and order them so that the producer has time to do so.
